Job summary

Legends Global’s Mesa Convention Center is seeking a Box Office Supervisor to oversee daily box office operations and supervise ticket-selling staff.

You will coordinate event and ticketing information, ensure accurate cash handling and sales reporting, assist patrons, and maintain efficient box office procedures.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced live-events environment while delivering exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1–3 months related experience or training
• Box office or guest services background preferred
• Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices; ability to coordinate staff
• Ability to count money and make change accurately
• Ability to input data into a computer to record sales transactions
• Good communications skills; reads and interprets information
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and guides ticket sellers in proper selling procedures.
• Updates and coordinates all event information for ticket sellers.
• Opens or closes the ticket window as required.
• Dispenses tickets accurately and handles payments.
• Maintains daily ticket sales records and cash balances.
• Balances sales and change bank; submits cash for audit.
• Handles Will-Call and reservations by phone or mail as assigned.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers questions about prices, seating, and events.
