Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a Box Office Agent to welcome guests at the box office and via phone. You will help with tickets, reservations, and questions, ensuring a warm, professional experience from first contact through entry.

You will cross-train in multiple areas, handle admissions, updates to reservations, and maintain a tidy, inviting space. The role requires a friendly, dependable team player with basic computer skills and strong communication.

Pirates Voyage Box Office Agent

Do you enjoy working with people, providing great customer service, and being part of a fun entertainment environment? We are looking for Box Office Agents to join our crew! As a Box Office Agent, you will work in both our public-facing box office and phone room, helping guests before and during their visit. You will be one of the first points of contact for many of our guests, so a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude is essential. From helping guests with tickets and reservations to answering phones and resolving questions, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience from the moment our guests arrive.

What You Will Do

• Welcome and assist guests in the box office with a friendly, upbeat, and professional attitude.
• Serve as an initial point of contact for guests, assisting with admission, reservations, tickets, ticket changes, and other attendance-related needs.
• Distribute tickets to guests as they arrive for the show.
• Answer guest questions and provide accurate information about the theater, attractions, shows, and surrounding offerings.
• Assist guests with booking and reservation issues and professionally resolve mistakes or concerns.
• Accurately enter guest and reservation information into our ticketing system.
• Answer phones and assist guests with reservations, questions, and general information.
• Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
• Cross-train and work in multiple areas, including the public box office, greeting guests, ticketing, and phone reservations.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for our guests.
• Consistently represent the company with a courteous, positive, and professional attitude.

What We Are Looking For

• Ages 16 and up
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with the public.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking with guests both in person and over the phone.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately learn and use ticketing systems.
• Professional telephone skills and a clear, pleasant phone presence.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to remain calm and professional while helping resolve guest concerns.
• Willingness to work both public-facing and behind-the-scenes box office duties.

Schedule

Hours vary depending on our show schedule. Because we are a dinner theater, most shifts will include afternoon and evening hours.

Compensation

Starting pay: $12.00 per hour.
