Job summary

The Viejas Bowling Center is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to support the Bowling Center Manager with scheduling, training, and disciplinary documentation for staff. You will help lead the team to deliver friendly, efficient service and resolve guest concerns, while ensuring food and beverage controls and compliance with Viejas policies.

Daily duties include cash handling, lane assignments, and coordinating with management on promotions and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Food Handler’s Certificate and California Responsible Beverage Service training required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Bowling Center Manager with managing, scheduling, training staff and documenting disciplinary issues.
• Provides leadership within the department and addresses team member issues.
• Maintains customer relations by soliciting feedback and resolving complaints; ensures prompt, courteous service.
• Performs duties of Bowling Center staff as needed, including cash handling and overseeing registration/lane assignments.
• Maintains food and beverage controls and current Food Handler certification; orders via Lawson and other channels.
• Prepares staff schedules two weeks in advance and maintains log books; communicates supply needs.
