Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. in Springfield, IL seeks an Archery Specialist to help customers, set up bows with accessories, tune and repair gear, and assist with trade-ins. You will keep your workspace neat and participate in product training sessions.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (or 3 months related experience) and safety-focused mindset. Compensation starts at $23.00 hourly with flexible scheduling and ~42 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 3 months related experience.
• Experience with bows, archery equipment is a plus.
• Ability to communicate with customers and explain repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Carefully follow customer requests while ensuring safety requirements.
• Set up bows with accessories.
• Tune bows and perform repairs.
• String bows and perform related maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and back stock area.
• Attend product knowledge trainings when required.
• Answer questions about location, price, and use of merchandise.
• Stock shelves and assist with trade-ins.
