Job summary

JETSET Pilates is opening a new studio in Ann Arbor and seeks a Pre-Opening General Manager to lead the ground-up launch. You will recruit and develop the founding team, partner with ownership, and drive community engagement to create excitement around the opening.

After launch, you will oversee daily operations, sustain membership growth, and maintain exceptional client experiences while meeting KPIs and standards for operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3 years of operations or general management experience, ideally in boutique fitness, hospitality, or a luxury membership-model consumer service environment.
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams — ideally across multiple locations or in a pre-opening context.
• Demonstrated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit — initiative, proactive problem solving, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-opening studio launch, recruit and develop founding instructors and studio lead.
• Build schedules, staffing plans, and operational standards for launch.
• Drive founding membership sales and pre-sale campaigns; coach the team on consultative sales.
