Job summary

Nomadic in Austin, TX is seeking a recruitment professional to join a boutique agency focused on Behavioral Health staffing. This full-time role offers a 35-hour workweek (9am–5pm), in-office, with a base salary of $60,000–$80,000 plus uncapped commissions up to 25% and three career tracks: Delivery, Full-Desk, or Account Management.

You will source psychiatrists and psych NP candidates nationwide, build relationships with facilities, and collaborate with leadership.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of agency recruitment experience (Healthcare, Locum Tenens, High-Volume, or Commercial Staffing preferred).
• Strong phone outreach habits, persuasive communication, and high personal accountability.
• Ability to work full-time out of the Austin, TX office.
• Highly motivated self-starter eager to build a lucrative desk within a booming niche market.

Responsibilities

• Specialized Sourcing & Screening: Headhunt, engage, and screen Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for locum tenens (contract) assignments nationwide.
• Candidate Relationship Management: Build lasting relationships with healthcare providers throughout their interview, credentialing, and placement journeys.
• Pipeline Execution: Manage active candidate pipelines, schedule facility interviews, and negotiate contract terms.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Account Managers and Operations teams to ensure fast, seamless placements.
