Job summary

Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive aggressive outside and inside sales, with 80% of time in active solicitation. You will assist the Director of Sales in annual marketing plans, prepare proposals, and manage group bookings end-to-end, including VIP arrangements.

Ideal candidates have strong business communication, proven sales skills, flexibility for nights/weekends/holidays, and enjoy teamwork to create memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong business communication and presentation skills.
• Talk and listen to clients, demonstrating excellent sales skills.
• May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a successful solicitation process including outside sales calls, inside appointments, and direct mail.
• Assist the Director of Sales in preparing the annual marketing plan and action plans for segments.
• Send proposals on leads that fit the property profile and follow through to definite status.
• Obtain, document and route necessary information on definite groups, including billing, credit, rooming lists, and VIP arrangements.
