Job summary

The Public Area Attendant at Casa Monica Resort and Spa, Autograph Collection in St. Augustine maintains Highgate Hotel Standards across all public spaces, from lobbies to restrooms and pool areas, ensuring a welcoming, pristine environment for guests.

You will handle cleaning assignments, assist Room Attendants, report maintenance issues, and help with special projects as needed. A high school diploma, prior hotel experience, physical stamina, and strong communication skills are required;

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with guests and employees.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to listen to and clarify concerns from guests and staff.
• Flexible schedule; long hours sometimes required.
• Stand for the entire shift and handle physical duties.
• Maintain regular attendance and groom to hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Highgate Hotel Standards across all public areas, the lobby, restrooms, fitness centers and meeting spaces.
• Perform cleaning assignments and assist Room Attendants and House Attendants as needed.
• Report maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist with project cleaning and other duties as required.
