Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Public Area Attendant to uphold the cleanliness of lobby, business centers, fitness areas, restrooms and other public spaces to Highgate standards. You will support room attendants and assist with special cleaning tasks as needed.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, prior hotel/housekeeping experience preferred, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible hours and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobby, restrooms, and public areas.
• Assist with Room Attendant and House Attendant duties as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE as required.
• Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Provide attentive, friendly guest service and adhere to hotel standards.
• Adhere to the schedule for cleaning of public areas and maintain organization.
