Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants seeks a hotel engineer to maintain and care for all equipment and building components across the property, including HVAC, pumps, plumbing, lighting, and related infrastructure. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections to ensure smooth operations for guests and staff.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and guest-centric service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a hotel engineer is preferred or comparable maintenance experience.
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment, systems and building components including mechanical and electrical systems, pumps, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, locks, furniture, paint, wall coverings, tile and other equipment.
• Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts.
• Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
• Paint corridors, hotel rooms, and lobby areas when necessary.
• Attend trainings and meetings.
