Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants seeks a skilled Hotel Engineer to maintain all equipment and building systems across the property. Responsibilities include mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, locks, furniture, painting, wall coverings, tile, and other equipment.

You'll build, repair, and paint hotel areas, install lighting, inspect machinery, and coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel engineer experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong maintenance and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, repairs, and paints all parts of the hotel.
• Install and replace lighting fixtures and bulbs.
• Clean carpets and rugs.
• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely, personable manner.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on projects.
