Job summary

Staypineapple is hiring a Guest Services Agent to be the face of the hotel, delivering warm, friendly service from arrival to departure. You will handle check-ins/outs, room scheduling, and guest requests with a smile, while guiding guests to local attractions and providing barista services when needed.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and 3–6 months of related experience, plus basic Windows/Office skills and a passion for outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three to six months related experience preferred.
• Possess a valid food handlers card and alcohol service card (can acquire after hire).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Ability to effectively interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and create effective resolutions to problems.
• Possess a passion to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Completing daily front desk duties including check-ins/outs, room scheduling, room moves, late checkouts, stay-overs and rates and types of available rooms as well as responding to other requests from guests and providing welcome beverage and barista services as needed.
• Assist arriving and departing guests with their luggage to and from guest rooms.
• Act as a point of reference for guests that require assistance or information and attend to their wishes and requirements. This includes their transportation needs.
• Acquiring and sharing knowledge of the hotel as well as the surrounding areas, venues and attractions.
