Job summary

Herm South Coast Plaza boutique is seeking a Greeter/Host to welcome clients as they enter the store and support the client experience by determining visit purpose and directing guests to the appropriate team or merchandise. The role manages appointment communications and the boutique entrance to ensure a hospitable, organized flow of clients.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, guiding them to merchandise or staff, maintaining the appointment calendar, and assisting with umbrella

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service experience in retail or related sectors.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule according to business needs.
• Comfortable handling telephone and face-to-face interactions professionally.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet every visitor entering and leaving the boutique and serve as the host of the store.
• Determine client needs and guide them to the appropriate merchandise or team member.
• Maintain and update the daily appointment calendar, indicating arrivals, no-shows, reschedules, and cancellations.
• Support phone appointment requests, schedule team entries, assign requests, and resolve appointment conflicts.
• Communicate appointment arrivals to selling, operations, and asset protection teams and proactively update clients in outdoor queues when capacity is reached.
• Provide client assistance such as umbrella storage, beverage service, and escorting clients to the door or car with purchases.
• Collaborate with boutique team and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
