Job summary

Hermès South Coast Plaza Boutique seeks a friendly Greeter/Host to warmly greet clients at the entrance and guide them through the store. This role supports the Client Experience and Service Manager in delivering extraordinary service and coordinating appointments with cross‑team collaboration.

The ideal candidate has strong communication and customer service skills, a flexible schedule, and an eye for detail, with basic Microsoft Office knowledge. Physical presence at the boutique is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
• Strong communication skills for face-to-face and telephone interactions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule according to business needs.
• Attention to detail and organized personal workspace.
• Knowledge of neighborhoods and store services; second language a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Greet every visitor as they enter and leave the boutique.
• Serve as the Host and model Hermès' exceptional service standard.
• Guide clients to merchandise or to the appropriate team member.
• Collaborate with selling, operations and asset protection teams.
• Maintain daily calendar of client appointments and events.
• Assist with phone appointment requests and scheduling.
• Update clients in outdoor queues to minimize wait times.
• Handle difficult situations with grace and professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
