Qualifications

• Approximately 4–7 years of relevant transactional real estate experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating governing documents and leases.
• Ability to act as transfer agent for cooperatives and advise on board meetings.
• Strong research and writing skills with clear guidance to clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase and sale transactions for cooperative/condo units from contract to closing.
• Draft and review proprietary leases, bylaws, house rules, and related documents.
• Prepare AIA contracts and access licenses, negotiating access agreements.
• Advise boards and managing agents on day-to-day legal matters and compliance.
• Coordinate closings, ensure timing and documentation accuracy.
• Support borrower-side financing and refinancing transactions.

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New York
