Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and NY license or eligibility to practice in NY.
• 4–7 years of litigation experience in a law firm.
• Substantive experience in real estate and/or commercial/business litigation.
• Comfort with litigation technology and court filing systems (NYCEF; PACER a plus).
• Strong legal judgment, integrity, and collaborative spirit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong advocacy.
• Experience drafting motions/pleadings, managing discovery, and depositions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined docket of real estate and commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Develop and execute litigation strategy with partners and clients.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions; prepare clients and witnesses.
• Argue motions and participate in court appearances and settlements.
• Manage discovery and deadlines to keep matters moving forward.
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with paralegals and team members while upholding quality and deadlines.
