Booz Allen is seeking a Boundary Security Engineer to design and test boundary security capabilities for DoD networks, and to implement these capabilities in production with remote support. Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with network security and the design of IT systems or networks for large commercial enterprises or government agencies.
• 4+ years of experience with firewall and enterprise security design, including device hardening, IDS/IPS, SIEM, firewalls, VPNs, vulnerability assessment.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Design and test boundary security capabilities in a lab environment and implement into production.
• Provide remote firewall and security appliance support to implementation teams.
• Identify and support security requirements for switched and routed networks and implement best-practice configurations.
