Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Survey Technician to support Real Estate with ROW research, legal descriptions review, and GIS data analysis for CIP and DSD projects. Occasional field verification may be required to confirm boundaries using GNSS/GPS and total stations.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in land surveying or GIS, a valid driver's license, and familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D. Strong communication with CIP and Development Services teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in land surveying, GIS, civil engineering, or real estate/right-of-way.
• Ability to read and interpret plats, deeds, easements, and legal descriptions.
• Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Review legal descriptions and ALTA survey exceptions for CIP/DSD projects.
• Research plats, easements, deeds, and survey records to resolve boundary questions.
• Develop GIS layers and ROW exhibits to support CIP and DSD teams.
