Job summary

Revvity is seeking a Bottling Technician I (2nd shift) in San Diego. You will support filling, capping, labeling, and kit assembly on a 3PM-11:30PM schedule. This role involves following SOPs, maintaining accuracy in formulations and lot tracking, and working with Excel for data and documentation.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, plus 6 months of biotech manufacturing or bottling experience. A lab environment and safety practices are emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• 6 months lab/biotech manufacturing or bottling experience.
• Ability to perform basic math and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bottling tasks: dispense antibody solutions, cap and label bottles, assemble kits.
• Formulate products per SOPs and work instructions.
• Verify worksheets for concentrations and lot numbers.
• Store finished goods per designated temperature conditions.
• Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel.
• Set up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations.
• Operate filling lines, lyophilizer, and labeling machines.
• Follow instructions for all task completions.
• Adhere to procedures, policies and safety guidelines.
• Clean and maintain work area and lab equipment.
• May perform data entry and production documentation.
• Take on other projects as required.

Essential Functions

• Assist in performing various bottling related tasks to include dispensing antibody solutions, capping and labeling of vials, tubes or bottles, and assembly of kits
• Formulate products per approved Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs) and work instructions
• Verify formulation worksheets to ensure that information such as concentrations, lot numbers etc. are correct
• Put away finished goods products according to their designated temperature conditions
• Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel
• Set-up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations
• Operate computer-controlled process support/process equipment (i.e., filling line, lyophilizer, capping, labeling machine, etc.)
• Follow instructions for completion of job tasks
• Adhere to correct procedures, policies and health/safety guidelines
• Clean and maintain work area and all lab equipment and supplies
• May perform data entry and production documentation completion tasks
• Other projects or responsibilities as may be required

Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience

• High school diploma/GED or some college.
• 6 months of experience in a laboratory and/or biotech manufacturing and/or filling/bottling/packaging working environment

Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience

• 6 months of experience in a regulated manufacturing industry
• Experience in pipetting or dispensing liquid products
• Ability to perform simple math calculations
• Aseptic Technique in biosafety cabinet

Work Environment & Physical Demands - Lab

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $18.00-$21.50/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
