Job summary

BioLegend is seeking a Bottling Technician I or II for our Form, Fill, and Finish Group in San Diego, CA. You will process formulations, dispense antibody solutions, cap and label vials, and complete batch records.

The shift runs 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, in a fast-paced, team-oriented biotech setting. You’ll use Excel and bottling equipment daily and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accurate, on-time product delivery.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or some college.
  • 6+ months of relevant experience in a laboratory and/or biotech manufacturing and/or filling/bottling/packaging environment.
  • 6 months hands‑on experience in pipetting or dispensing liquid products.

Responsibilities

  • Assist bottling tasks: dispensing antibody solutions, capping and labeling vials, tubes or bottles, and assembling kits.
  • Formulate products per SOPs and work instructions including multi-component cocktails.
  • Verify formulation worksheets for concentrations and lot numbers.
  • Put away finished goods according to designated temperature conditions.
  • Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Set up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations.
  • Operate bottling and packaging line equipment and related process controls.
  • Follow procedures and health/safety guidelines; complete data entry and batch documentation as needed.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area and lab equipment.

Job Summary

BioLegend is looking for a Bottling Technician I or II for our Form, Fill, and Finish Group. This role will be responsible for processing product formulations, dispensing antibody products, capping, labeling, kitting and completing batch records, and putting away Finished Good Inventory (FGI). This is a highly team oriented group which involves working closely with other core teams within the Bottling Department as well as other departments such as Planning, Receiving, Inventory Control, Custom Solution Team (CST), Packaging and Quality Control groups. Essential Functions

  • Assist in performing various bottling related tasks to include dispensing antibody solutions, capping and labeling of vials, tubes or bottles, and assembly of kits
  • Formulate products per approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions including multi-component cocktail formulations
  • Verify formulation worksheets to ensure that information such as concentrations, lot numbers etc. are correct
  • Put away finished goods products according to their designated temperature conditions
  • Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel
  • Set-up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations
  • Operate computer-controlled process support/process equipment (i.e., filling line, lyophilizer, capping, labeling machine, etc.)
  • Follow instructions for completion of job tasksAdhere to correct procedures, policies and health/safety guidelines
  • Clean and maintain work area and all lab equipment and supplies
  • May perform data entry and production documentation completion tasks
  • Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
Minimum Qualifications – Education And Experience
  • High school diploma/GED or some college.
  • 6+ months of relevant experience in a laboratory and/or biotech manufacturing and/or filling/bottling/packaging working environment
  • 6 months hands‑on experience in pipetting or dispensing liquid products
Preferred Qualifications – Education And Experience
  • 6+ months of experience with automatic filling machines
  • Aseptic Technique in biosafety cabinet
  • Demonstrated high levels of teamwork, quality, and productivity
  • Ability to perform simple math calculations

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment.

The base hourly range for this full‑time position is $18.25 - $22.00/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
