Job summary

Fior Di Sole LLC in California is seeking a Material Handler to support bottling operations. You will receive, inspect, and store dry goods and finished products, recording all movements in NAV and verifying lot numbers, then stage materials for production runs.

You will perform counts, FIFO, and related inventory control tasks, label and count finished goods, and help load for transfers. A forklift certification and precise data entry are required; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or higher preferred.
• Current forklift certification, or ability to get certified within 30 days of hire.
• Experience using a handheld scanner and entering data into an ERP or inventory system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central a plus).
• Strong grasp of inventory counting, unit-of-measure conversions, and lot tracking.
• Able to do basic and complex math quickly and accurately.
• High accuracy in data entry and documentation, with strong attention to detail.
• Able to read and interpret BOLs, purchase orders, bills of materials, work orders, and SOPs.
• Basic computer skills (email, Excel, inventory software).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in inventory management or control; winery/beverage warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound dry goods following the SOP and verify against BOLs/POs/packing slips.
• Inspect materials for damage or incorrect items; quarantine nonconforming materials.
• Label and store received materials in assigned locations; record receipts in NAV.
• Enter inventory data into NAV; perform counts and cycle counts.
• Consolidate pallets; rotate stock FIFO and maintain organized locations.
• Pick and stage dry goods for bottling runs; confirm items with bottling team.
• Restock materials at bottling line; move finished goods to warehouse.
• Verify case counts, SKUs, vintage, and lot/bottling codes against paperwork.
• Record finished goods production and returns in NAV for traceability.
• Safely operate forklift, pallet jack, and handheld scanner; perform pre-use inspections.
• Follow safety, GMP, and food safety procedures; keep areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
