Job summary

Protex AI Limited is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for our Boston office to lead technical delivery and own data infrastructure for enterprise clients. You will work closely with clients, gather context on-site, and build scalable pipelines and integrations while collaborating with a dedicated Technical Implementation Consultant.

You will travel 4–5 times per year to client sites and occasionally to our Dublin HQ, shaping architecture and prototyping new solutions in a fast-paced startup

Qualifications

• Expertise in data engineering, pipelines, backend architecture, API design, and modern data platforms.
• Strong ownership of data integration and system delivery for enterprise use cases.
• Ability to architect scalable data stores and data flows across client environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish technical leadership in the Boston hub and set high engineering standards.
• Own data infrastructure, pipelines, and backend systems for client deployments.
• Lead forward deployed delivery with the Technical Implementation Consultant counterpart.
• Build robust data transformations, integrations, and data quality guarantees.
• Integrate hardware/edge components with Protex’s platform for field deployments.
• Prototype rapidly to unblock client decisions and demonstrate value.
• Document learnings to influence core architecture and product roadmap.
