Job summary

Audax Private Debt in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to lead financial reporting and fund-level accounting for multiple Private Debt funds. You will collaborate with Investor Relations, CLO, FP&A, Tax and deal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting and compliance.

The role requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, support external auditors, prepare MD&A, capital calls, distributions, and investor materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with CPA required.
• 3–5+ years of experience, preferably in asset management or private debt.
• SEC/BDC reporting and CLO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and fund-level returns.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly MD&A on fund performance for senior management.
• Review fund administrator’s work on Private Debt funds.
• Prepare and review capital calls and distributions.
• Track portfolio investments and interest payments.
• Daily cash management, reconciliation with banks.
• Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits.
• Support investor materials and quarterly tax estimates.
