Job summary

Bel Brands is seeking a Bossar Machine Operator in Nampa, ID. You will operate the form, fill, seal (FFS) equipment for our manufacturing process on a 12-hour shift (Thursday through Sunday and every other Wednesday from 7:00am to 7:00pm).

You will handle high-speed equipment via touchscreen, manage film rolls, monitor for quality, document inventories, and perform basic maintenance and sensory testing. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with related tech schooling advantageous.

Job Summary

As a Bossar Machine Operator for Materne North America, you will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of the FFS (form, fill, seal) equipment for our manufacturing process.

This position is for C shift - Thursday through Sunday and E/O Wednesday from 7:00am - 7:00pm.

Position Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed manufacturing equipment through touchscreen/HMI
• Lift and add rolls of packaging film into machine
• Observe materials to identify contamination or foreign materials
• Inspect pouches for uniformity and quality
• Document all necessary supply inventories
• Operate industrial carts and forklifts in a safe manner

• Must work a minimum of 12 hours
• Responsible to support a food safety and food quality culture
• Demonstrate the Company’s values and winning behaviors while adhering to all company policies and practices, including safety and environmental protocols, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for an entire shift (12- hours)
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs multiple times per shift

Education

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Technical / Trade School preferred

Experience

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience working in the food industry is a plus

Knowledge/Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate (verbal, read, write) effectively in English
• Mechanical aptitude
• Computer skills (data entry & experience with an ERP system in a production environment preferred)
• Basic math skills, including competency with weights and measures (must be able to take measurements and understand tare weight).
• Embraces teamwork and thrives in team environment
