Qualifications

• GS-7: Experience: 1 year specialized experience including inspections, observation, and applying laws and regulations.
• GS-7: Education substitution: bachelor's degree with SAA or graduate level education; combination of experience and education.
• GS-9: Experience: 1 year specialized experience including detaining, enforcing shipping laws, risk assessments, and interviewing.

Responsibilities

• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture law and regulations.
• Enforcing the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
• Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
