Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer (CBPO) roles are full-time, entry to mid-level positions with education or related experience in public safety. The role involves enforcing laws, inspecting travelers and goods, and protecting the nation's borders.

Selections at GS-5/7/9 levels offer base pay from about $41,863 to $127,464 per year, plus overtime and a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and a Thrift Savings Plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience.
• Experience in public safety, security, or law enforcement preferred.
• Ability to perform inspections and enforce laws.
