Job summary

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) invites qualified retired Border Patrol Agents to return as reemployed annuitants. This GS-12 level position offers a salary range of $91,985.00 to $119,583.00, depending on steps, with opportunities to serve in multiple USBP sectors.

Qualifications

• Specialized law enforcement experience or equivalent demonstrated in handling immigration or related enforcement matters.
• Ability to interpret and enforce immigration laws and regulations.
• Experience in intelligence, investigations, and anti-smuggling activities (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Enforce immigration and customs laws at or near U.S. borders.
• Patrol and monitor to detect, deter, and apprehend unauthorized entrants and contraband.
• Participate in training, background investigations, and reemployment processes as a reemployed annuitant.
