U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seeks a Border Patrol Agent to rejoin the USBP as a reemployed annuitant. This role supports securing America's borders, enforcing immigration laws, and protecting national interests across multiple sectors.

Eligible retirees may receive salary offset waivers and expedited pre-employment processing. The position starts at GS-12 with a salary range of $91,985 to $119,583, with location preferences in your chosen USBP sectors.

Formación

• Specialized law enforcement experience demonstrating ability to arrest and exercise sound judgment with firearms.
• Ability to assess situations rapidly and take appropriate enforcement action.
• Knowledge of immigration laws and border enforcement procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Detect and apprehend individuals suspected of immigration violations and smuggling near borders.
• Patrol borders using assigned assets and maintain surveillance to deter illegal entry.
• Interpret and apply laws, conduct inspections, and coordinate with agencies during enforcement actions.
