U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seeks reemployed Border Patrol Agents to protect America’s borders and enforce immigration laws.

The role emphasizes leveraging prior USBP experience while returning to frontline duties, with accelerated re-entry training and an expedited pre-employment process. The position starts at GS-12 with a salary range of $91,985 to $119,583, and may include a dual compensation waiver where applicable.

Formación

• Specialized experience in law enforcement or other responsible work that demonstrated the ability to make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms.
• One year of specialized work experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level to interpret and enforce immigration or comparable laws, rules, and regulations, and to perform intelligence, investigations, and anti-smuggling activities.
