Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Immigration and Nationality Law and related policy implications.
• Familiarity with firearms use policy and safe handling.
• Understanding of criminal law and investigative procedures.
• Ability to analyze information quickly and make sound enforcement decisions.

Responsibilities

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws and inspecting documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented individuals and smugglers near borders using available assets.
• Interpreting tracks, evidence, and physical indicators of illegal entry or contraband.
• Performing patrols and checks across diverse locations to uphold border security.
• Patrolling border lines and waterways using vehicles, horses, boats, and other equipment.
