• Eligibility for GL-5/GL-7/GS-11 levels based on education or experience.

Responsibilities

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of immigration and customs violations and inspecting documents.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance methods.
• Interpreting evidence of illegal entry and conducting checks across multiple environments.
• Patrolling border areas and coordinating with various assets to fulfill the USBP mission.

Education

Bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study
