Qualifications

• One year of general work experience, ability to learn regulations and procedures
• Combination of general work experience and education acceptable
• Education substitution allows a bachelor’s degree for qualification

Responsibilities

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of immigration and customs violations
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers
• Interpreting evidence and following tracks of illegal entry
• Performing farm, building, traffic and transportation checks
• Patrolling borders and waterways using various government assets
