Qualifications

• Experience: One year of general work experience that demonstrates leadership, decision-making, and composure in stressful situations; OR
• Education Substitution: a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; OR
• Combination of Experience and Education: a mix of general work experience and college education submitted with your application.

Responsibilities

• Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration or customs violations and inspect documents.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented individuals and smugglers using various patrol methods and assets.
• Interpret tracks and evidence to determine law violations and enforce compliance.
• Patrol borders and coastal areas using vehicles, horses, vessels, and other equipment to support CBP mission.
