Customs and Border Protection seeks Border Patrol Agents to enforce immigration and border laws across multiple duty locations in the United States. Qualifications

• One year of general work experience demonstrating the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations; to learn regulations, methods, and techniques through classroom training and/or on-the-job instruction; and the ability to gather concise information.

Responsabilités

• Detect and question people suspected of violating immigration and custom laws; inspect documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at borders using surveillance and night-vision tools.
• Interpret and follow tracks and evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.
• Perform farm, building, traffic and transportation checks.
• Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using various assets to fulfill CBP mission.
