BPAs operate across multiple duty locations, with a focus on border security, inspections, and law enforcement duties, backed by extensive training and a robust retirement plan.

Competenze

• One year of general work experience demonstrating the ability to lead, make decisions, and stay calm under stress; training and on-the-job instruction may apply.
• A bachelor’s degree or completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or
• A combination of general work experience and education, evaluated via resume and transcripts.

Mansioni

• Detect and interview individuals suspected of immigration or customs violations.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near borders.
• Interpret tracks and evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Conduct farm, building, traffic, and city patrols as part of border security.
• Patrol borders and waterways using vehicles, horses, boats, or other assets to fulfill CBP mission.
