Job summary

Science Applications International Corp. is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support the Land Border Integration team in the Buffalo, NY area. The role involves maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of LPR, RFID, network/power, and related equipment at U.S.

Ports of Entry, with travel up to 150 miles from home base. You will collaborate with CBP and SAIC teams, ensure compliance with IT and security policies, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and inspecting field equipment at ports.
• Ability to drive up to 150 miles daily.
• DHS Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections at Ports of Entry on deployed equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify root causes and repairs.
• Install new equipment and systems according to specifications and SOPs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for upgrades, replacements and enhancements.
• Document accurate records of maintenance, repair histories and inventory levels.
