Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Project Execution professional to oversee Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment throughout the project lifecycle, from proposal through startup.

You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure equipment specifications, designs, and quality requirements are met. This role combines technical engineering expertise with project execution responsibilities to support successful power generation projects, with the Gas Services team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Balance of Plant (BOP) equipment design, engineering, and project execution.
• Knowledge of BOP equipment design, sizing, and application requirements including fuel gas systems, pumps, control valves, cooling water systems, and related plant equipment.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for collaboration across engineering, procurement, suppliers, and customers.
• Experience supporting supplier evaluations, design reviews, FAT, and commissioning activities.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Support the Proposals Department in developing technical solutions and project proposals.
• Develop generic and site‑specific technical specifications, including MDLs defining supplier deliverables and schedules.
• Evaluate supplier bids, prepare technical bid tabulations, and support procurement activities including e‑bids and e‑auctions.
• Lead technical design reviews with suppliers and ensure timely submission and review of engineering documentation.
• Conduct FATs to verify equipment performance and compliance with project requirements.
• Support commissioning and startup activities while responding to technical inquiries, RFIs, PCMs, and field design requests.
