Responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack, and stock textbooks and merchandise.
  • Process incoming shipments and update inventory records in the system.
  • Assist students with textbook orders, digital bookshelf access, and access code redemption.
  • Coordinate textbook distribution, returns, and exchanges.
  • Support faculty with textbook adoption processes, deadlines, and platform navigation to ensure accurate course listings each semester.
  • Communicate with online book distributors and publishers to resolve order and access code issues.
  • Address, resolve, or elevate customer concerns as appropriate.
  • Maintain bookstore cleanliness, organization, and inventory accuracy.
  • Perform basic administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Work effectively in a team-oriented and customer-focused environment.

Job Description

seeking a customer-focused and organized Bookstore Operations Assistant to support the daily operations of the campus bookstore. This role provides front-line customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while assisting with textbook distribution, inventory management, order processing, and administrative support.
