Job summary

Colgate University’s Colgate Bookstore seeks a part-time Bookstore Customer Service Associate to assist customers on the sales floor and by phone, stock merchandise, and process transactions. The role involves handling textbook orders, returns, and general merchandise with a focus on friendly service.

Candidates should be able to work weekends, learn POS and inventory systems, and collaborate within a diverse team in a historic, central New York bookstore environment.

Responsibilities

• Work at the register and assist customers on the sales floor or by phone.
• Stock merchandise and process transactions through the register.
• Receive, process returns, and pull textbook orders as assigned.
