Job summary

Morse Institute Library in Natick is seeking a Bookmobile Coordinator to drive the library’s bookmobile and support outreach across the community. The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating outreach efforts to reach diverse neighborhoods and events.

The Coordinator will work with the Outreach Librarian to provide reference, Reader’s Advisory services, home delivery where appropriate, and data-driven improvements. Evenings may be required for events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 2–3 years library experience with a diverse population.
• A valid MA driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Library Bookmobile and/or Library Van on a regular schedule.
• Plan, implement and evaluate outreach activities aligned with library goals.
• Collaborate with the Outreach Librarian and other departments to provide services and programs.
• Collect and analyze outreach statistics to refine services for Natick residents.
• Some nights and evening shifts may be required for outreach events.
