Job summary

The Morse Institute Library in Natick seeks a Bookmobile Coordinator to drive outreach across neighborhoods, events, and community gatherings, ensuring access to information, education, and entertainment.

With a BA and 2-3 years in a library, you will operate the Bookmobile/Library Van, coordinate with the Outreach Librarian, collect statistics, and provide Reader's Advisory and reference services, including home delivery for eligible residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 2–3 years working in a library with a demonstrated commitment to a diverse population.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Library Bookmobile and/or Library Van on a regular schedule.
• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating outreach services.
• Provide reference and Reader's Advisory services, and home delivery to eligible residents.
• Collect and analyze outreach statistics to refine services.
