Ledgent is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Bookkeeper with mandatory QuickBooks Desktop experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will handle general ledger tasks, reconciliations, and monthly close activities, while using ServiceTitan and QuickBooks Desktop in a fast-paced service-based environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or related field preferred.
Experience with bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate accounting records within QuickBooks Desktop.
Perform general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries and month-end close.
Prepare financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
Reconcile franchise fees and recurring financial transactions monthly.
Process accounts payable transactions and vendor invoices.
Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
