Job summary

You will post transactions, reconcile ledgers, prepare payroll, and generate financial statements in a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• National bookkeeping and payroll certifications (or ability to obtain).
• 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and GAAP.
• Ability to interpret and apply instructions, policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Post financial transactions into subsidiary books and general ledgers.
• Reconcile and balance accounts.
• Generate and analyze financial statements.
• Prepare and process payroll.
• Generate 1099s and W2s and calculate and prepare tax statements.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, vendors and banking contacts.
• Assist in client retention and growth opportunities.
