Job summary

The Pros Painting Co Inc in Memphis, TN is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Manager to join our growing team. In this dual role, you'll keep our finances in order and our office running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable/receivable, payroll, invoicing and job costing for painting projects, and overseeing office operations and scheduling for field teams. If you love numbers and teamwork, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping and office management.
• Proficiency in JobPower or similar accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication and team-player demeanor.
• Experience in the construction or trades industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records
• Prepare and track invoices, estimates, and job costing for painting projects
• Oversee general office operations, supplies, and administrative workflows
• Coordinate scheduling, communications, and correspondence for office and field teams
• Track and manage employee clock in and out times
• Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting and tax preparation support
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for contracts, permits, and vendor records
