DMG Worldwide is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our Accounting Department. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, the ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our clients with essential bookkeeping services. This includes monthly write-ups, reconciliations, A/P, A/R, G/L management, financial reporting, and special projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Generate and review Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets
• Produce accurate and timely monthly financial reports
• Handle Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R)
• Manage General Ledger (G/L) for client accounts
• Assist with sales tax filings and other tax-related compliance
• Respond promptly to client requests and deliver ad hoc reports
• Support specialized accounting projects as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience or Associate's degree in Accounting (Bachelor's preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Highly organized with excellent decision making and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
• Demonstrated understanding of business operations and financial health
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to pass a background check and bookkeeping/QuickBooks proficiency test
• Must be resourceful, proactive, and a fast learner with new software
