Habitat for Humanity of Summit and Wasatch Counties seeks a bookkeeper/accounting associate to support transactional accounting, donor data, and the annual audit within a small finance team. You will assist with AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end closes while maintaining donor records for funder reporting.
You will work closely with the CFO, ensuring accuracy for the annual audit and timely financial statements, in a nonprofit setting that serves affordable housing initiatives.
Habitat for Humanity of Summit and Wasatch Counties builds and preserves affordable housing for ownership in two of Utah’s most expensive markets. We are a small team doing complex work — multiple entities, Low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) and CROWN compliance, construction lending, and an annual audit — and we need someone who keeps the financial machinery running accurately and on time.
This Bookkeeper/accounting associates sits at the center of that machinery. You’ll assist with the day-to-day transactional accounting and the integrity of our donor and financial data, working directly with the Chief Financial Officer and our other financial staff.
