We're Hiring: Part-Time Freelance Bookkeeper (Remote/Flexible)

Our growing accounting firm is looking for a seasoned freelance bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. What You’ll Do:

1. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple small business clients
2. Reconcile bank and credit card statements with precision
3. Process payroll and handle payroll tax filings
4. Maintain general ledgers and produce clean financial reports
5. Collaborate with accountants and CPAs to ensure smooth tax preparation
6. Provide support across various industries — from retail to real estate

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 10 years of bookkeeping experience (freelance or firm-based)
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (Online and Desktop), Gusto, and other cloud-based systems
• Ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines with excellence
• Clear, professional communication skills
• A proactive problem-solver with high integrity and reliability

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all financial statements and bank reconciliations
• Process payroll to provide payment to employees on time
• Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
• Complete bookkeeping duties: Data entry and record maintenance
• Properly record financial transactions

Qualifications:

• Experience with basic accounting systems, QuickBooks, and Excel
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Exceptional knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills

Compensation:

$47,000 - $60,000 yearly
