Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing seeks a meticulous Bookkeeper for our client in Michigan City, IN. This 100% onsite role handles daily accounting tasks and financial recordkeeping, offering growth in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment.

You will maintain AP/AR and GL, reconcile banks, assist with month-end and year-end closes, process invoices and payroll, and support audits and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
