TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Dayton, OH is seeking a full-time bookkeeper to join our growing, locally owned team in a casual yet professional environment.

Responsibilities include managing full-cycle bookkeeping, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, daily transactions, and monthly reports. Qualifications include an associate degree and 3+ years in accounting, with expertise in QuickBooks or Xero.

• Record and categorize daily financial transactions.
• Process invoices, vendor and customer payments.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end closing.
• Track revenue and expenses by location/business unit.
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow tracking, and financial analysis.
• Work with management, CPAs, and outside vendors as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple business units
• Maintain accurate Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts
• Record and categorize daily financial transactions
• Process invoices, vendor payments, and customer payments
• Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Track revenue and expenses by location/business unit
• Process or assist with payroll and payroll-related reconciliations
• Maintain accurate records for sales tax, 1099s, and other filings
• Monitor outstanding receivables and vendor balances
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow tracking, and financial analysis
• Work with management, CPAs, and outside vendors as needed
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issuesMaintain organized and confidential financial records
• Help improve accounting procedures and internal controls

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in QuickBooks and/or Xero.
• Experience analyzing financial data and/or budgeting.
