Job summary

Spaulding MFG Inc in Saginaw, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our manufacturing team. You will apply financial expertise in a hands-on production environment where accuracy and organization impact day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate has experience as a bookkeeper, with proficiency in GL, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations, and familiarity with Sage 50 or similar software. Associates degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in Sage 50 or similar bookkeeping software.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliation.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reporting.
• Generate financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Track and record manufacturing costs, inventory, and job costing data.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
